"Ol' MacBilly" is the first segment of the ninth episode of Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer.

Synopsis[]

Teased by a gang of lizard youths for his hair, Billy decides to save up for a wig by looking after Big Doug's prized mammoth.

Plot[]

Billy finds himself lost in a forest while chasing a specimen. He bumps into a trio of Gorks who proceed to make fun of his hair. Upset, Billy flees the forest and ends up at a Big Doug's Wonderful World of Wigs. Big Doug himself believes Billy's hair to be magnificent, but Billy insists that he get a new wig which he likes as they are made out of pure mammoth hair. However, they are incredibly expensive and Big Doug turns Billy away; telling him that he should be proud of his afro like hair and not think about what others say. Nevertheless, Billy still wants a wig and decides to pay for it by getting a job, which ironically Big Doug's is offering at the time.

Big Doug has Billy get to work by taking care of his youngest mammoth named Maria so she can prepare for the talent show. Maria is energetic and Billy is incapable of calming her down all day. The next morning, Maria is tired and Billy decides to use one of his devices to clean and wash her. However, the mechanism injures her trunk and Big Doug kicks Billy out. As Big Doug calls an emergency groomer, Billy ties up the real one and enters to groom Maria himself. He decides to shave off Maria's hair and just make a wig on his own. However, he ends up shaving off too much making Maria look miserable. Realizing what he has done, Billy decides to make it right in time for the show.

Big Doug enters the back room to see it in shambles and learns that the real groom was tied up. He arrives in time for the show just as they announce Maria. To everyone's surprise, Maria, still completely shaved, now has a giant afro resembling Billy's which wins over the entire crowd including the three bullies who are now embarrassed. Billy had given all of his hair to Maria, but later goes and buys a new one from Big Doug after it becomes a new sensation, though he ends up short changing him. The bullies now wear Billy's wig, but now just want his wallet.
