"Out of Body Slam Experience" is the first segment of the twenty-sixth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Hailey's On It!
Synopsis[]
A hypnotized Scott inadvertently provokes Rowdy Ronnie, who forces Scott to wrestle him.
Plot[]
Beta happily wakes up to his pre-birthday, as he will not be invented for another 49 years. He finds Hailey and Scott in the middle of trying to complete the next list item, painting a log, and comes to believe that they completely forgot about him. This turns out to be a ruse as Hailey and Scott show that not only did they remember, but that they got him a VIP pass to see his favorite wrestler Rowdy Russ Stanton. Beta mistakes a box for him, but it is actually a book for Hailey about hypnotism, which relates to her next list item. She decides to try it out on Scott, because he has the mind for it, and Beta gleefully agrees to seeing it happen.
Hailey successfully hypnotizes Scott to believe he is a variety of animals based on the sounds they make. After trying out a flying squirrel on him, Hailey tries to de-hypnotize him, only to discover that learning to do so is in the second volume, much to her chagrin. Scott refuses to stay home and convinces Hailey and Beta that he can still accompany them to the meet and greet with Rowdy Russ. At the show, Rowdy Russ habitually claps his hands, causing Scott to behave like a chicken. Believing that he is insulting him, as well as his conspiracy theories, Rowdy Russ challenges Scott to a wrestling match. Scott agrees to do it, knowing that wrestling is fake.
Rowdy Russ proceeds to pummel Scott in the ring, much to Hailey's concern. Realizing that they have an out, Hailey decides to make sounds so that Scott can mimic animals while he fights Rowdy Russ. This proves effective as Scott is able to successfully defeat Rowdy Russ. Beta admits that what Scott did was cool, though he was disappointed that Rowdy Russ didn't get to do his signature move. Rowdy Russ congratulates Scott for beating him and Scott asks him if he could perform his signature move on Beta. While Rowdy Russ finds this request odd, even suggesting that he is an ai, he agrees to do it, much to Beta's joy.
