The exterior of Owl's house

The interior of Owl's house

Owl's residence is a treehouse located in one of the taller trees in the middle of Hundred Acre Wood. It is here that Pooh and his friends go to visit Owl, drink some tea with him, and ask for the wise bird's advices. Owl usually enjoys these visits very much, as he often rambles on into his own thoughts.

Owl's house was destroyed when the tree it was located on was downed by the strong wind and swept away by the rain in "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day". After this, Piglet, in a very noble act, decided to give his own house to Owl and go live with Pooh Bear. It is assumed that Owl and Piglet eventually re-acquired their own houses in the future, as they are both seen living in their original homes in The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin, The Tigger Movie, Piglet's Big Movie and The Book of Pooh.
