"PANTelevision" is the first segment of the sixteenth episode of the Disney Channel animated series StuGo.

Synopsis[]

MUTANT TV! The kids get sucked into a white-hot Mutant soap opera.

Plot[]

While trying to feed the cave dog, the StuGo kids get sneezed on and are forced into quarantine by Mr. Okay. He tells them that they most likely caught the dog flu and that they will know if they have any symptoms, humorously, similar to the behavioral patterns of dogs. To entertain themselves Mr. Okay brings in an old fashioned TV and tunes them into PANTelevision, the island's own closed circuit television network. While Mr. Okay continues to keep his distance, the kids are forced to wait and watch the various channels that PANTelevision has to offer. While they become fixated on a show called Hand Holders, they also take the time to watch other things too:

  • A show involving Chicho rubbing himself with mud.
  • Catapult Kevin: In which a mutant named Kevin continues to launch himself all over the island.
  • Kiss Cam: Blobfish Mutant kisses the camera. Larry becomes oddly fixated on this one.
  • A commercial for Tara's Greatest Hits where Tara the dolphin and Merian sell an album.
  • Mutanaut and Blood Pressure commenting on Dr. Lullah's recent space launch.
  • The Hole: A close up of a hole with certain phrases posted underneath.
  • A cooking show involving Rianne making Chip themed dishes, showing that the two are still into each other.
  • Dr. Lullah's News: Shark Mutant news reporting, though no one can hear him due to the distance away from the camera.
  • Footage of Rianne's dad dancing to please some unseen monster.
  • Dimpey's STUCO - Brained up by Rimman Fishfish: The mutants' attempt at creating a show centered on the StuGo kids, complete with having Francis playing herself (she had no idea what they were doing).
  • Trent's Tube: A kids show where objects are shot out of Mariana Trent's tube.
  • A commercial for the leg farm.

The StuGo kids start watching the teen drama Hand Holders and become obsessed with the story of Frogatha, a poison tree frog mutant who cannot hold hands with anyone. Mr. Okay continues to come in and check on them, forcing the kids to pretend that they are still sick so that he doesn't take the TV away. Mr. Okay pretends that he is in danger, forcing the kids to come and get him and he scolds them for hogging his TV to himself. When they mention Hand Holders, he joins them in excitedly watching the finale, only for Catapult Kevin to come crashing through the roof and crush their TV, much to everyone's shock and horror.

Cast[]

Trivia[]

  • This episode functions more as a short skit episode, rather than a typical conflict resolution episode.
  • Rianne and Chip are confirmed to still be, more or less, into each other.
