The musical score is heard where Donald Duck tells José Carioca. The two arrive and catch the train leading to Salvador (called "Baía" in the film) the capital city of the state of Bahia in Brazil. As the score plays, the train takes Donald and José across a rainforest where the two encounter the Aracuan Bird trying to confuse the two through many series of tunnels. After the train passes through a challenge of tunnels, the score ends when the train stops and Donald and José arrive in Baía.
- According to the late Walt Disney Archives founder Dave Smith, his opinion is that the score was not original for the film, but was licensed by the Walt Disney Company. Smith, however, was unaware of any evidence proving his opinion.
- Benedito Lacerda, who composed the musical score for the film, was not credited.
