The Heroes race to prevent Grand Admiral Thrawn's escape.
Plot[]
Elsebeth is gifted a Nightsister sword from the Great Mothers to confront the Jedi, while Ezra Bridger constructs a new lightsaber using spare parts from his late master, Kanan Jarrus. Ahsoka, Sabine, and Ezra make their way to the Chimaera, which has docked with the Eye of Sion, but are confronted by Elsbeth and the Night Troopers, whom the Great Mothers keep resurrecting after they are killed. Sabine uses the Force to help Ezra jump onto the Chimaera while Ahsoka kills Elsbeth. The Eye of Sion jumps to hyperspace, leaving Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang stranded on Peridea. As Thrawn and the Great Mothers arrive over Dathomir, Ezra escapes and reunites with Hera and Chopper. Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang join the Noti and make their new home on Peridea, watched over by Anakin's spirit. Hati joins the bandits, while Skoll is guided to a mountain by a statue of the Mortis Gods.
Ezra constructs a new lightsaber, based off of Kanan's.
Ezra and Thrawn both return to the main galaxy, resolving the cliffhanger from the final episode of Rebels.
It is confirmed (after being alluded to in the fourth episode) that Sabine's entire family was killed in the Great Purge.
This is the first time Morai is seen in person as she was seen as a background character in The Mandalorian episode, "Chapter 13: The Jedi".
This is the first time that illustrations of the Mortis gods appear in live-action as Baylan Skoll was seen standing on statues of the Father, Son, and Daughter at the end.
