Patrick McGoohan was an American-born English-Irish actor, writer, and director. McGoohan starred in The Three Lives of Thomasina as Andrew McDhui as well as The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh as the title character on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. He also played Doctor Eric Kiviat in Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend. He even voiced Billy Bones in Treasure Planet which was his last role before he retired. He was considered for the role of George Banks in Mary Poppins before David Tomlinson won the role.

Aside from appearing in films, like Scanners, A Time to Kill, Braveheart, Silver Streak, Escape from Alcatraz, and Mary, Queen of Scots; McGoohan is widely known for his work as John Drake in the television series Danger Man. He also appeared in shows, like The Prisoner, Murder, She Wrote, and Columbo for which he won an Emmy Award.
