Patton Peter Oswalt is an American actor, voice actor, stand-up comedian, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles as Matt Freehauf in the 2011 comedy-drama film Young Adult (alongside Charlize Theron), Spence Olchin in the CBS sitcom The King of Queens, Joel Mynor in the short-lived Fox series Dollhouse, and voicing Eldon Michaels in Batman Beyond, Specs/Spectral in Static Shock, the male version of Jesse in the Minecraft: Story Mode video game, the Toymaker and Marty Slacker in The Batman, and Theodore "Tobey" McCallister III in PBS Kids' WordGirl. Additionally, he voiced Max in the 2019 Universal/Illumination animated sequel film The Secret Life of Pets 2 (following Louis C.K.'s retirement) and Nom Nom in the Cartoon Network series We Bare Bears. He most recently voiced Pinky Penguin in the Netflix adult animated black comedy-drama series BoJack Horseman.
For Disney, he most notably voiced Remy in the 2007 Disney/Pixar film Ratatouille, along with its subsequent short Your Friend the Rat, the video game, and Kinect Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure. He also voiced Professor Dementor in Kim Possible and in its live-action adaptation, Papa in Pickle and Peanut, Franz in Gravity Falls, McSnorter in Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures, Mr. Fluffenfold in Big City Greens, and the Mayor in The Ghost and Molly McGee. Additionally, he played Agents Eric, Sam, and Billy Koenig (along with their brother Thurston Koenig) in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and voiced Hubie in Miles from Tomorrowland and Uncle Ben and Chameleon in Spider-Man. He also portrayed Jerry Peters in the Once Upon a Time bonus feature "Three Who Stayed" and voiced M.O.D.O.K. in the Hulu animated series of the same name and Pip the Troll in Eternals and its untitled sequel.
