Pauline is a character in the 1945 Donald Duck cartoon, Duck Pimples. She is the owner of the stolen pearls.
Character[]
Pauline is a "Poor girl who lost her pearls." In the short, Duck Pimples, she is seen looking for her pearls and she thinks Donald Duck stole them.
The Wonderful World of Disney[]
In the Walt Disney Presents episode "The Mad Hermit of Chimney Butte", she, along with Dopey Davis and Leslie J. Clark, are first seen in a ghost town, talking to Witch Hazel. When Donald arrives, looking for a place to live, with no neighbors, she and the others are sent into the book from this cartoon, which is revealed to be filled with ghost stories that Hazel was reading to the group. This same footage was later repurposed with redubbed dialogue for use in DTV Monster Hits, playing before Daryl Hall's "Dreamtime".
Trivia[]
