Peggy Holmes is a choreographer, dancer, screenwriter, and film director. She worked at Disneytoon Studios.
She began her professional career in 1984 with dance roles in television shows and films such as Gimme an "F". She would also choreograph scenes in films like Wayne's World, Father of the Bride Part II, Encino Man, Gypsy (1993), and Rock Star. She would win an Emmy Award in 1998 for her work on the television show Fame L.A. alongside Marguerite Derricks.
Her time at Disney began as a dancer on the television special Totally Minnie. She soon began to work with Kenny Ortega where she assisted with Newsies and Hocus Pocus. She eventually began work at Disneytoon Studios where her dance experience helped to shape musical numbers for animated features such as The Jungle Book 2, Mulan II, The Lion King 1½, and Kronk's New Groove. Holmes soon transitioned into writing and directing features like Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas, The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning and Secret of the Wings.
After she left Disney, Holmes directed Luck for Skydance Animation.
