Piccolo is a song bird who appears in the Sofia the First episode "The Princess Prodigy".

Role in the series

About way back Baron Von Rocha borrowed Piccolo's singing voice to boost his musical talent and Piccolo wasn't able to sing after that. The Baron promised he'd work on a spell to return Piccolo's talent. He was seen with Baron Von Rocha judging the band contest. When Sofia talked to him, he told her that he once had a beautiful voice. Baron Von Rocha told him about his plan to steal Princess Vivian's musical talent and how he needed Piccolo's voice. He promised Piccolo once he had Vivian's talent, he would return his singing voice. However, Baron Von Rocha betrays Piccolo and refuses to give him his talent back. Piccolo goes to Sofia and shows and tells her what Baron Von Rocha did to Vivian. When she asks why he did such a terrible thing to her, Piccolo reveals that the Baron is a fraud who gained his powers through magical theivery and gives her the counter spell. When Sofia, her siblings, and her friends defeat Baron Von Rocha, Piccolo gets his talent back, to his joy.
