Piston Peak National Park (aka the new Cars Land) is an upcoming themed land at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, announced at D23 Expo 2024. It was announced alongside Villains Land and will be situated alongside it behind the Rivers of America as Phase One of the "Beyond Big Thunder" project.

Premise

Unlike the Disney California Adventure incarnation of Cars Land, this version is set in Piston Peak National Park from Planes: Fire and Rescue, trying into the Frontierland theme by serving as an exploration of the American wilderness. Taking place around the time of Cars on the Road, McQueen and Mater are on a road trip through the country, and invite guests to come along.

Future Attractions

There are going to be two major attractions in Piston Peak.

Cars Road Rally

Cars Road Rally is set to be the main attraction of Piston Peak. It will be set in a national park, where guests must race other off-reader vehicles to the finish in a mountain climbin', geyser jumpin', mud slammin', high flying' rally race.

Unknown Race Attraction

The second attraction is set to be a Tomorrowland Speedway-esque ride for the smallest racers, racing on a dirt track like Doc Hudson.
