- This is the first Pixar production to be fully live-action.
- WALL-E, however, did have a few scenes that integrated live-action humans, specifically during Buy n Large's Axiom commercial shown during WALL-E's trip back home, featuring Fred Willard's live-action character Shelby Forthright.
- This is the only Disney+ Original that premiered on November 12th that doesn't get new episodes every Friday.
- It is unclear yet if there will be episodes starring characters from The Good Dinosaur, Ratatouille, A Bug's Life, and/or Cars.
