Pixie Preview

Pixie Previews is a series of comedic short animations, based on the Disney Fairies motion pictures.

Each of them have a total runtime of approximately one or one and a half minutes long each. There are about 47 shorts in total being produced.

Season 1: Meet the Fairies

These following shorts debuted around February 2008, on Disney Channel and Disney's websites, before the first Tinker Bell film was released.

The voice actors are largely the same as in the films. As there are no onscreen credits at all for these shorts, the entire voice cast is uncredited, unlike the films.

Trivia

• While the shorts themselves are CGI-animated like the films, all the title cards used in Season 2 (except the ones themed on The Pixie Hollow Games) appear in traditional 2D-animation.
• Although Pixie Hollow's website was closed on September 19, 2013, the shorts could still be viewed on Disney Video website (with region block). Those, however, were later removed as well.
• Some Pixie Previews are available in Disney's official Youtube channels such as Disney Princess, being however "unlisted."
• The "How To" Narrator from the Goofy cartoons (voiced by Corey Burton) could be heard narrating all the winter-themed Pixie Previews which are themed around the fifth movie Secret of the Wings.
• For unknown reasons, none of these Pixie Preview shorts are available for streaming on Disney+.

Home media availability

• Only ten Pixie Preview mini-shorts are released on the Pixie Hollow Bake Off DVD release as bonus features. "Just Desserts", "If the Hue Fits", "Dust Up", "Scents and Sensibility", "Just One of the Girls", "Volleybug", "Hide and Tink", "Rainbow's Ends", "Fawn and Games" and "Magic Tricks".
