Characters from popular Playhouse Disney TV shows appear together live on stage. The show brings audiences into the worlds of Playhouse Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Annie, June, Quincy, and Leo from Little Einsteins, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Darby from My Friends Tigger & Pooh, and Handy Manny and his Tools. The story involves the Playhouse Disney Postess delivering party invitations to all of Mickey's Playhouse Disney friends. The audience follows as the pals venture off to find music in the Hundred Acre Wood, Sheetrock Hills, and all over the world, as they try to get their party started.
Act 1[]
Mickey walks in and says hello, then visits his friend the Postess at the post office. He asks her if she can give out three invitations to three of his Playhouse Disney friends, the Little Einsteins, Darby, Tigger, Pooh, and Handy Manny and his Tools.
Each invitation says that each person needs to bring a special song and music to the party. The Little Einsteins are bringing music from all over the world, including China, Spain, Italy, Japan, Russia, and Africa. Tigger, Pooh, and Darby are making music with sounds of nature, including the tweet of a bird, the ribbit of a frog, and the buzz of a bee. Handy Manny, with the help of his friends, are making music with rhythm by using items that can make sounds.
Act 2[]
When Mickey comes back, he says the magic words "Meeska Mooska Mickey Mouse!" and calls his friends Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. He then checks in on the Postess to see if she sent all of the invitations, which she did.
Mickey heads over to the Clubhouse while the Postess tells the audience that they are all gonna give Mickey a surprise by singing the Hot Dog Song. After practicing the dance, the Postess meets Mickey over at the Clubhouse with Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as they get ready for the party. After everyone sings the Hot Dog Song as a surprise for Mickey, Goofy accidentally cuts the power to the stage, ruining the music party until Mickey decides to say the magic words again, with help from the audience and his friends, to get the lights back on. It works successfully, bringing the party back up as everyone arrives at the party.
Near the end of the show, Mickey tells everyone that "Music is something that's all around us, everywhere in the whole world, and if we share it with each other, it really brings us all together."
In the Italian version of the show, the My Friends Tigger and Pooh parts were changed and replaced by Winnie the Pooh. Darby was replaced by Piglet. It should also be noted that Buster is not present in this show.
Daisy and Pluto are absent from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse character lineup.
