Pluto's Quin-puplets was the first Pluto cartoon not part of the Silly Symphonies series.
Synopsis[]
Pluto has to stay and watch the kids while Fifi goes out for food. Not an easy job with five rambunctious pups who won't stay still and end up fighting with an airhose and some spilled paint. Even more difficult when Pluto accidentally drinks moonshine.
When Fifi returns home with some sausages, she discovers the mess that happens when she's away: Pluto is drunk on moonshine and stained with paint, while the pups are heavily colored with paint (with patterns). Infuriated by this, Fifi chasing away Pluto and the pups, but in turn left alone in the doghouse during the cold night, meanwhile Pluto and the pups sleeping comfortably in their own extemporary shelter.

Notes[]
- This was the first Pluto cartoon in the series, and was one of the only two to use the "Pluto The Pup" opening and closing titles (the other being "Bone Trouble").
- The Pluto sunburst logo as seen in the original opening titles appears exclusively for this short. Unlike the second variant seen in the 1940-1946 Pluto cartoons, this sunburst logo appears slightly tilted sideways, and Pluto's pupils appear smaller. [1]
- Unlike the other Pluto The Pup cartoon "Bone Trouble", this cartoon retains the "Pluto The Pup" title name even in the reissue opening titles.
- Excluding Pluto's solo appearances in the Silly Symphonies series, this is also the only Pluto short to be made in the 1930's.
- For some odd reason, the unrestored 1980's master of the cartoon as seen on the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Cartoon Collections, Walt Disney Cartoon Classics: Starring Pluto & Fifi and on Good Morning, Mickey episode #76, you can hear an out of sync and lower volume of the soundtrack playing underneath the actual soundtrack [2][3][4][5]. This was fixed on later masters of the 90's, and the restored version since the Walt Disney Treasures: The Complete Pluto DVD release.
- Outside "Pluto Jr.", this is the only appearance of the quin-puplets until the 2021 series Chip 'n' Dale: Park Life.
- Aside from a brief cameo in "Pluto's Blue Note", this is the only cartoon in the Pluto series to feature Fifi the Peke, as well as and the only cartoon in the series where Fifi plays a major role.
