"Pooh Bear" is the theme song that opened every episode of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (with the exception of Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too). An instrumental of theme played at the end of each episode. Some installments which featured a longer ending credits sequence also included a reprise of a portion of the vocals.
The song is also featured in the new musical stage adaptaion of Winnie the Pooh.
Lyrics[]
Gotta get up, I've gotta get goin'
I'm gonna see a friend of mine
He's round and he's fuzzy
I love him because he's just...
Pooh Bear, Winnie the Pooh Bear
Lookin' for fun, chasin' some honeybees
Pooh Bear, I know he's out there
Rumbly-tumbly, climbin' a honey tree
Fun never ends for us, we're so adventurous
Least every now and again
And when we're alone and there's nobody home
It's nice to be able to count on a friend like...
Pooh Bear, Winnie the Pooh Bear
Wherever you go, oh won't you take me please?
Pooh Bear, I gotta be there
It's me and it's you
My silly old Winnie the Pooh
Gotta get up, I've gotta get goin'
I'm gonna see a friend, a friend of mine
He's round and he's fuzzy
I love him because he's just...
Pooh Bear, Winnie the Pooh Bear
Lookin' for fun, chasin' some honeybees
Pooh Bear, I know he's out there
Rumbly-tumbly, climbin' a honey tree
Gotta get up, You've gotta keep going
They'll always be a friend, out there to find
The sun is a risin'
So get up and dive in with...
Pooh Bear, Winnie the Pooh Bear
Lookin' for fun, chasin' some honeybees
Pooh Bear, I know he's out there
Rumbly-tumbly, climbin' a honey tree
Fun never ends for us, we're so adventurous
Least ev'ry now and again
And when we're alone and there's nobody home
It's nice to be able to count on a friend like...
Pooh Bear, Winnie the Pooh Bear
Wherever you go, oh won't you take me please?
Pooh Bear, I gotta be there
It's me and it's you
My silly old Winnie the Pooh
It's me and it's you
My silly old Winnie the Pooh
