Pop, A.K.A. Experiment 009, is an illegal genetic experiment created by Jumba Jookiba and a character in the Lilo & Stitch franchise. He is designed to use his tail to blow up a balloon to the size of the room he is in, then popping the balloon, discombobulating those involved near the explosion of the balloon and causing frizzy hair. Pop's main function is to pop balloons at the enemy to surprise and disorient them. His one true place is as a weather balloon. He appears in Stitch!.
Pop is a small orange and carmel-colored monkey/Cannonball-like experiment with two pink orbs on the top of his head with three stubby multi-colored antennaes. Pop has a white face and stomach and a small red nose, as well as green markings on his rear and back. Pop's tail is a pump which he uses to blow up pink balloons which reform on his tail after they pop.
Powers and abilities
Pop uses his tail to blow up a balloon to the size of the room he is in, then popping the balloon discombobulating those involved near the explosion of the balloon and causing frizzy hair.
Experiment 009 was the 9th genetic experiment created by Jumba with Hämsterviel's funding. He was designed to discombobulate and disorient enemies using his tail. 009 and the other first 624 experiments were deactivated and smuggled to Earth by Jumba during his mission to capture Experiment 626.
All of the experiment pods were released and scattered across the island of Kauai.
Pop was displayed by a young Hämsterviel to Delia around the time of Experiment 626's creation, accidentally letting him out of the containment capsule. Naturally, he carried out his primary function, inflating his tail in front of an interested Delia. Hämsterviel jumps on the enlarging balloon but is propelled with the balloon. Delia soon realizes what is happening, and as she tries to escape, the balloon gets too big and immobilizes her, pressing her against Hämsterviel. The balloon eventually pops, yet, Pop's fate afterward is unknown, but he somehow ended back with Jumba.
- Pop's pod color is red.
