Porcupine is one of the characters and a minor antagonist of Bambi II. He's elderly and has gold fur and quills. He is very grumpy and doesn't like it when other animals walk on his big bridge, composed of a log which serves as his home. He is voiced by Brian Pimental.
The Porcupine first appearance is when he finds out Bambi and his friends are about to cross the bridge, The Porcupine pops out and scare them away, but Bambi went up to the porcupine to scare him away and he yells "Get off of my property, you pesky squirrel!". Bambi jumped over the porcupine, but the porcupine doesn't give up and he uses his quills to chase Bambi and attack him. The Porcupine missed and land on a log and he stands on both legs again and growls and Bambi went down to the trap door of a log and the porcupine flung up like a see saw, he lands on Bambi's bottom and pricks him and Bambi jumps off the log to the lake.
In his second appearance, while Bambi's is being chased by the Hunter Dogs he attracts the Porcupine attention stomping on top his log and The porcupine pops up and prepare to attack Bambi again, but Bambi push the log down catapulting the porcupine up into the air landing on one of the dogs' bottom and fell out of the log to the lake and the porcupine lands to the log and became stuck again.
In the final climax of the film, he is seen again with other animals to hear Thumper's story about Bambi that attack the dogs. Bambi was shy and he walks away from Faline when she moves closer to him, but the porcupine uses his quills to prick Bambi and he jumps up forward to Faline and kisses her. When Bambi leave to The Great Prince, The Porcupine waved goodbye with the other animals.
The Porcupine is very similar to Mr. Digger from the The Fox and the Hound, they both have a grumpy attitude both are disturbed from their slumber by the main protagonist of their films.
