"Potions Eleven" is the eleventh episode in Season 1 of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. It premiered on January 17, 2025.

Plot

When Billie uses a potion to enter Justin's mind, she discovers what really happened during the infamous "Unicorn Incident" that got him fired from WizTech.

• This is the first episode to air in 2025 and the first one to premiere after a two-month hiatus.
• Amir Talai previously played in an Alien in the episode "Wizard for a Day" from the original series.
  • Amir Talai is the first cast member from the original series to not reprise his role and play two different characters.
• The inside of Justin Russo's mind is inspired by Inside Out.
• This is the first episode that Milo Russo didn't appeared in but he is mentioned.
• The episode uses archival footage from the original show.

Goofs

• Justin says it has been 15 years since the unicorn incident, making the timeline of that event 2009/10. However, this doesn't add up as the original series was only on season 2 at that time and Justin didn't become a full wizard or headmaster until 2012, when the series ended. Giada also mentions in one episode that she and Justin have been married for 15 years, making the timeline uncertain. This, like the other episode, implies that the series takes place in a universe where it does not match up to the year of the real world.
