- “Hi, everybody! I'm Pouchy!”
- ―Pouchy introducing himself
Pouchy is a minor character in Disney•Pixar's 2024 animated feature film Inside Out 2. He is a traditionally animated character from Bloofy's House, Riley's favorite children's show. He is Bloofy's magic fanny pack and Anger's new friend.
Role in the film[]
Pouchy first appears when the Emotions and Lance Slashblade are planning a way to escape the Vault after Bloofy commands them to call his name. He then suddenly comes to life and introduces himself to the characters. Bloofy asks him if he has any objects to help him escape the Vault, which he replies to him that he has a lot of items stored inside him. Amongst some of the items that Pouchy gives are a tomato, a frog, or a stick of dynamite. However, Anger impatiently grabs the dynamite that Pouchy is suggesting, exploding the safe and causing the heroes to escape the Vault.
During the climax of the film when the Emotions are trying to return to Headquarters in a plan to save Riley's life from being ruined by Anxiety in Headquarters, Anger and the other Emotions began to shout Pouchy's name, causing him to appear in front of the four, reintroducing himself to Anger's ire. Joy asks him if he has any objects that can help the Emotions return to Headquarters, to which Pouchy responds that he has a lot of items that would help them on the way back to Headquarters. While Pouchy is offering a roll of tape and a rubber duck, Anger impatiently grabs him and grabs several dynamite bundles from his insides. Disgust asks Pouchy if he has anything else she believes would actually be useful, like a jetpack or plane, irritating Pouchy and causing him to say that he only offered the heroes what he could. Joy tells him that her friends need more dynamite, which they manage to earn, followed by a blasting machine that Pouchy gave them, just as the Emotions uses the explosives to cause an avalanche of Memory Orbs to lead them back to Headquarters.
During the epilogue, Joy tells the emotions that she and her friends followed the new varsity caliber-training program and as Envy reacts to what Joy revealed about it, the emotions hear Pouchy talking, interrupting the conversation. Pouchy then appears, strapped around Anger's body, as he asks Pouchy to give his friends confetti as a celebration with Riley's life saved. Pouchy follows his request and sneezes confetti onto Fear twice.

Trivia[]
- When someone needs Pouchy's items for help, they call out "Oh, Pouchy!", similar to when Mickey Mouse and his friends need Mouseketools from Toodles, they call out "Oh, Toodles!"
- The core emotions called for Pouchy in unison after only Bloofy and Anger called out, just like what the characters in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse sometimes do when calling out for Toodles in many episodes.
- Pouchy tells the viewers which items they can use to help, similar to what Mickey and the gang often do before picking a Mouseketool.
- Pouchy is similar to the Uncle Grandpa character Belly Bag and Dora the Explorer's Backpack, who are magical talking bags and one of the title characters' friends who supply them with anything they need.
- When it comes to confetti, however, they have similar symptoms:
- Backpack sneezes due to being allergic to confetti as revealed in the Dora the Explorer Season 5 episode "The Backpack Parade".
- Pouchy, on the other hand, often coughs the confetti out.
- When it comes to confetti, however, they have similar symptoms:
- Pouchy is somewhat similar to The Penguins of Madagascar's Rico, who chokes up random things from his stomach.
- Pouchy is the only non-emotion to visit Headquarters.
