Principal Byron Mitchell is the main antagonist, turned supporting character, of the Disney XD comedy series Kirby Buckets.
Background[]
Personality[]
Principal Byron Mitchell is the voice of authority at Forest Hills High. He talks with an unusual mixed accent (possibly English) and speaks calmly, yet sternly with everyone. Due to being a principal, he insists on efficiency and promptness within his halls and does not take kindly to the crazy antics of his students, particularly Kirby Buckets. This usually causes him to come into conflict with Kirby and he would occasionally take things too far to an almost sinisterly gleeful level.
As the series progresses, Mitchell is shown to have a more sympathetic, and even heroic, side. He is the dimensional gate keeper, a job he takes seriously, and is close friends with Kirby's father. During the third season, he acts as more of a mentor to Kirby, helping him overcome some of his issues and encouraging him to help protect their dimension. While he can sometimes be petty, he has goals of his own and by the series end, heads to Hollywood to star in a show that, ironically, sounds similar to Kirby's life.
Trivia[]
- Mitchell has a habit of having his hair blow in the wind. Where the wind actually comes from is never shown.
- In "It's a Kirbyful Life!", Kirby not learning how to draw leads Mitchell into becoming the headmaster of a reform school where he turns his students into carbon copies of himself.
