Propaganda Games was a video game development studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada which was formed in 2005. Owned by Disney Interactive Studios, the studio was formed by former employees of EA Canada, including Josh Holmes, Howard Donaldson, Jorge Freitas, and Daryl Anselmo. Prior to forming the studio, Anselmo and Holmes were co-creators of the NBA Street franchise before teaming up with Freitas to create Def Jam Vendetta.
They acquired the Turok license the same year, and released Turok, which was released for next generation consoles in 2008. A sequel, Turok 2, was in development soon after but was cancelled due to layoffs.
Once work was completed on Tron: Evolution and the proposed title Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned was cancelled, Disney closed the studio in January 2011.
