"Puppy Pluto" is the fourth episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+. It premiered on July 24, 2025.

Synopsis[]

Professor Von Drake's Itty Bitty Baby Ray turns him and Pluto into babies.

Plot[]

Mickey and Little Helper show the viewers a surprise, a box of old toys that Pluto played with when he was a puppy. Minnie and Pluto arrive, followed by Professor Von Drake, who had left his glasses back in his lab and mistakes Minnie for Mickey. He shows them his new invention: the Itty Bitty Baby Ray, which resembles a camera. He explains that by putting what you like as a baby in the machine's funnel and activating it, its beam can turn someone back into a baby. Pluto agrees to test it out and after his favorite baby collar is put into the machine, he is turned into a puppy. Donald and Daisy show up and see him, and the gang sings a song. The Professor explains that he is not willing to be a baby again and does another demonstration by putting his favorite baby chalkboard into the machine and attempts to aim it away from him, but without his glasses, he points it at himself instead and is also turned into a baby. This leaves the gang to find a way to turn them back, but they first go to get Mouseketools from the Mousekedoer: a handheld vacuum, a pogo stick, a flashlight, and the Mystery Mousekepal.

Mickey gets the idea to put what Pluto and Von Drake like as adults into the machine to reverse its effects: the professor's glasses in his lab and Pluto's favorite adult toy in his dog yard. After stopping Baby Von Drake from messing with the Anywhere Lever, they must first get the stroller from the closet, but the light is broken. They call Toodles for the flashlight, to which they find both the stroller and Donald's favorite noisemaker. Heading out to Pluto's dog yard, Pluto finds his favorite adult toy, but accidentally throws it into a nearby tree. Donald tries to climb it, but is unsuccessful. They call Toodles for the pogo stick. Despite bouncing too high, Donald manages to get the toy down. They put the toy into the machine and use it to turn Pluto back into an adult. Baby Von Drake begins to cry and after Daisy fails to cheer him up with a glass of water, Donald makes funny faces, which works until he plays the noisemaker that makes him cry again. He then stars to yawn, so Minnie sings him a lullaby to put him to sleep, which is about how she counts sheep to make her fall asleep. They head to the professor's lab, but find the door locked. They call Toodles for the Mystery Mousekepal, who is revealed to be Locksmith Goofy. Searching his keys, Goofy finds the correct key for the lock: a blue star key.

With the door open, Donald celebrates by blowing his noisemaker, which makes Baby Von Drake wake up and burst into tears, to everyone else's annoyance. They go into the professor’s lab, which temporarily calms Von Drake down. The gang searches the lab and after Baby Von Drake pushes a big red button, it covers them all in confetti. They call Toodles for the vacuum, which they use to clean up the mess before finding the glasses, which they use with the Baby Machine to turn Von Drake back into an adult. Von Drake seems to enjoy being a baby and also explains that the red button is his celebration button, which he pushes whenever his new inventions are a success.

  • This is the first time in the series (and second in the overall franchise) where Goofy is the Mystery Mouseketool/Mousekepal, with the first being the original series episode "Minnie and Daisy's Flower Shower".
  • Several Mouseketools have returned in this episode, including the pogo stick and the flashlight.
  • This is the second time Pluto turns into a puppy, with the first being the original series episode, "Goofy Babysitter".
  • The Baby Machine's ability to turn people into babies is similar to the Tick Tock Time Machine's ability.
  • The flashlight had the same role as in the original series’ premiere episode.
  • The lock on the professor's lab door looks similar to the singing lock from "Mickey's Silly Problem", except it is not sentient and requires a key.
  • The reason why Mickey doesn't say "We got ears. Say ‘Cheers!’" after selecting the Mystery Mousekepal is because it'll wake up Baby Von Drake from his nap.
    • Although he could have said it quietly.
  • This was first shown in the 2025 promo.
  • This is the first time in the series, as well as the entire Mickey Mouse Clubhouse franchise, where the “Big ‘NO!’” trope is used.
    • In that case, it is used for Mickey and the gang when Baby Von Drake is about to push the red button in slow motion.
  • Toodles moving screensaver is revealed ONLY, when the first Mouseketool disappears before his face shows up.

Goofs[]

  • Toodles gets WAY too close to the camera when showing the Mouseketools for the first time, with the first being Donald and the Beanstalk.
  • When Baby Von Drake and Pluto knock Donald down when chasing Little Helper, Donald has an error on his face.
  • In the “Puppy Pluto” song, there are two errors:
    • Professor Von Drake’s glasses appear on his face at the beginning of the song, but in the next shot that he's in, they vanish.
    • Puppy Pluto's bark at the end of the song sounds like his normal bark.
