"Pyramid-Life Crisis" is the third episode of Legend of the Three Caballeros. It premiered on June 9, 2018 on the DisneyLife app in the Philippines and premiered on Disney XD in the United States on August 21, 2021[1].

Synopsis[]

With Sheldgoose to carry him around and his faithful minion Leopold for transportation, Felldrake begins his evil plans by traveling to Egypt. He intends to use the pyramids, which were actually giant rocketships built by space mummies, to travel to the Moon and take over the Egyptians' giant robot army stationed there. The Caballeros quickly give chase with Xandra's help and foil Felldrake for the first time.

Plot[]

Still dragged by the bat creature, José Carioca asks Xandra to know what kind of creature is that to which Xandra fires her arrow at the rope to rescue as she tells Panchito and José to rescue him to which the two only find a spiked helmet, a bed of nails, and a bear trap which are bad idea to rescue him to which which Ari, the Aracuan Bird, devises a plan to use Panchito's sombrero to rescue him to which Donald is caught in the bear trap. Seeing the creature fly by, Xandra tells the Three Caballeros to chase the flying creature (though Donald gets himself out of the bear trap afterwards).

Meanwhile, the bat creature encounters Baron Von Sheldgoose talking to his ancestor Lord Felldrake who explains to him about why he should wear his robe to which Felldrake explains to him that the cloak conceals his identity as Sheldgoose himself and he explains that the Caballeros would think that he returned for world domination. The bat creature Leopold happily reunites with his master Sheldgoose and his ancestor Lord Felldrake to which Sheldgoose's ancestor tells him he has work to do while Xandra urges the Caballeros to hurry up and capture Leopold. Inside knight armor, Donald, José, and Panchito stumble outside just as Panchito explains to her that all three are cowards. Xandra explains to the Caballeros that the bat creature was none other than Leopold the Horrible, the faithful minion of Lord Felldrake the Terrible, an evil warlock who trapped Xandra in the golden atlas. Xandra shows the map to Donald, José, and Panchito and explains that the lights seen there are zoom points which can allow Xandra to take anyone to travel these places instantly, like what she did to the Caballeros to transport them to the Island of Crete she also explains that Clinton Coot's cabana is also a zoom point. She also explains that this map shows wherever Felldrake makes a move to which upon seeing a flame icon on Egypt, April, May, and June, Daisy's nieces, give Donald a mirror so the nieces can keep tabs on him just before Xandra takes the Caballeros to Egypt.

Arriving at Egypt, Leopold the Horrible flies above them as Xandra directs the three to chase Felldrake to which upon seeing pyramids below, Sheldgoose and his ancestor Felldrake arrive at Alqmr Alhrm, the moon pyramid to which Sheldgoose uses his staff so the three can enter the pyramid. Felldrake tells Leopold to stay while he and Sheldgoose enter. Meanwhile while riding on camels, Xandra and the Caballeros are on their way to the pyramid Sheldgoose is at much to them complaining about the intense heat. Back at Alqmr Alhrm, Felldrake tells Sheldgoose to hurry to a hidden chamber which would be the only way to awaken an army of evil beings to which upon accidentally stepping on a switch, Sheldgoose and his ancestor accidentally enter a chamber of skeletons inside.

Meanwhile arriving at Alqmr Alhrm, the Three Caballeros and Donald depart their camels and attempt to enter the moon pyramid without disturbing Leopold the Horrible to which instead of trying to get past him undetected, Xandra confuses him as she and the Caballeros enter the moon pyramid while avoiding traps and evading from Leopold. Leopold, however, finds his master and his ancestor. Arriving at a secret control room, Xandra tells the Three Caballeros to find a way to close the doors nearby before Felldrake bursts in to which she tells them to find the right lever which closes the doors. However, it is revealed that the pyramid they are inside is no ordinary pyramid but rather a rocket ship leading them to the Moon.

Xandra devises a plan to control the spaceship carefully to which the Caballeros carelessly use the buttons and levers improperly, which causes the ship to almost crash to which Xandra fixes it so it can move perfectly as she tells them to land the ship without any more problems. However, a pair of menacing eyes spies on Xandra. Meanwhile, Felldrake tells Sheldgoose to act quickly to which he tells him to explains what is going on. Felldrake's magic brings the hieroglyphs to life to which according to the prophecy, these pyramids were not built by earthlings but rather a species of extraterrestrial beings known as moon men and the pyramids are not actually pyramids but rather spaceships which were used to transport from the moon back to Earth and to their secret civilization on the dark side of the moon, it is also said at some point in ancient history, the moon men disappeared mysteriously, leaving their lost city and more importantly, their advanced weapons are the Moon Bot Army, an army Felldrake can control so they can get to the Moon, which is why he, Sheldgoose, and Leopold are here. Sheldgoose explains to his ancestor to know who is piloting the ship to which he explains that the ones doing so are the Astro Mummies.

Meanwhile, an Astro Mummy approaches as Donald accidentally sets the ship to low gravity mode to which while in air, Panchito wrestles the mummy to which while wrestling, Donald finds the instruction manual inside the ship and upon reading it, all Donald can see are hieroglyphs as José translates explaining that he should push the lever, which doesn't set things back to normal as José points him to a wrong switch which shuts the door to which José keeps giving Donald more wrong instructions like opening the hatch to reveal the ship's battery inside, causing the ship to crash due to low gravity but this is reverted when it goes back in place. Still in low gravity, Donald uses the mirror Daisy's nieces gave him so that they can help Donald in space. José tells Daisy's nieces to translate the hieroglyphs via Internet to help the three go back to normal. However, as the nieces translate the hieroglyphs, everything goes back to normal as Donald found a button setting the ship to normal mode. However, after Xandra explains that she took care of the problem, Leopold bursts in along with Sheldgoose and his ancestor. However, everyone in the ship notices they are about to crash on the Moon. April, May, and June explained that they translated the glyphs on the spaceship to help the, explains what the ship does when pressed. As the ship crashes on the Moon, the Astro Mummy appears next to Xandra as Panchito tackles it only for the mummy to fade into dust all of a sudden.

Meanwhile, Felldrake tells his master that the two of them are at the Moon, seeing the armor of a Moon Bot as he plans to power up the Moon Bot. Xandra and the Caballeros (in Astro Mummy suit) arrive at a spot where there are multiple pyramid spaceships as Felldrake explains that this is the spot where Sheldgoose can power up the Moon Bot Army for world domination. Suddenly, the Moon Bot Army appears in front of the three just as Xandra faces the Moon Bot Army by herself to which while firing arrows, more arrive and Xandra unleashes a rain of arrows to destroy the army only for more to appear. Cornered by Felldrake, the Three Caballeros (boarding a Moon Bot) save Xandra from being stomped on in teamwork to which the two Moon Bots engage in a brawl to know who is stronger as the other Moon Bots attempt to arrive at the pyramid spaceships to retreat. As Felldrake prepares to crush the Caballeros, Donald pushes the lever for the Moon Bot knock the other Moon Bot's head off, leaving it disabled and Felldrake, Sheldgoose, and Leopold to fail their plan as the pyramid spaceships all explode together, thanks to the Caballeros' teamwork.

Boarding on Alqmr Alhrm to get back to Earth, Xandra explains to the Caballeros that Felldrake has escaped as the spaceship returns back to Earth in its usual spot. Having solved the Moon Bot problem, Lucy, Alqmr Alhrm's stewardess, bids Xandra and the Caballeros a farewell as she returns to the ship passing by a group of Moon Bots.

Meanwhile in Outer Space, Felldrake, Sheldgoose and Leopold are on their way back to Earth as a plan to take revenge against the Caballeros.
