"Queen-Napped" is the second segment of the sixty-seventh episode of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. It premiered on April 14, 2019 alongside "The Knight Shift".
Synopsis
Star and Marco work together to rescue Eclipsa after she is kidnapped.
Plot
New Butterfly Castle is in shock as Queen Eclipsa has gone missing. Star, Marco, Janna and Pony Head all gather to look for clues until Star realizes that she can just use the all seeing eye to look for her, which seems to annoy Pony Head. They see Eclipsa tied to a chair with a green squid like creature on her head. Floating beings called the Inner Circle announce their ransom of her for a thousand gold pieces in three hours or else she will die. Star tells the people of Mewni about what occurred, but none of them know how to feel about it. When Pony Head mentions the risk, suddenly everyone is interested, much to Star's chagrin. The group uses clues from the background of the photo, which seems to change all the time, to find her, but no matter how many times they catch up, they are unable to find the culprits or Eclipsa.
Eventually Star figures out that Seahorse has to be the culprit. After using her magic to get rid of the Reflecta Corp. equipment from the events of "The Ponyhead Show!", Seahorse had to pay back all the costs. They find the abandoned Reflecta Corp. warehouse and "rescue" Eclipsa. However, it turns out the squid like creature on her head was a VR headset she was testing out for Seahorse and that the Inner Circle was just Pony Head's sisters in disguise. Realizing Pony Head set up the whole thing, Star is furious with her, until she learns that the events were broadcast on her show and has inevitably made Eclipsa popular with all the Mewmans. Star calms down as she sees the benefit and is glad that all of it was fake, except for the bill which she has to pay.
