Quentin Jerome Tarantino is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, and actor. He is best known for directing films with nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter, and the aestheticization of violence, such as Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, the two-part Kill Bill films, Inglourious Basterds, and Django Unchained. Actor Samuel L. Jackson has also appeared in many of Tarantino's movies.
For Disney, he made a cameo as himself in The Muppets' Wizard of Oz. He also played an Elvis Presley impersonator in The Golden Girls. Additionally, he directed Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, and the Kill Bill films during Disney's ownership of Miramax Films.
