Quentin Thompson is a character featured in the second season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. He resides in the Wizard World who is actually an Orc, and is a love interest of Billie. In the finale, Quentin is sent to the Nowhere Zone, making it unclear if he survived.
Background[]
Quentin is from the Wizard World who is actually an Orc disguised as a Human. As a human, he has the appearance of a 14 year old boy with brown hair that is swept to the side and casual clothes for his generation. He also wears a magical necklace that keeps him in his human form, which will revert him back to his orc form if it falls off his neck or is broken.
As an orc, Quentin is a lot taller and has white skin with no hair. He wears an armoured-like vest and has a bigger build with tusks on the side of his nose.
Role in the series[]
Quentin is introduced in "Cruel Detentions" when Billie is sent to detention. Quentin and Billie become friendly with one another and he helps her sneak back into detention after having previously snuck out, even though it means he gets another 3 weeks of detention. In "Boogie and the Beast", Quentin uses the telecom to ask Billie to the 8th Grade school dance before Principal Russo catches him. Quentin later calls Billie and invites her to the school dance, which she accepts but Justin forbids her from attending the dance because he does not trust Quentin until Giada convinces him otherwise. Justin gets Billie to invite Quentin over to get to know him better, but fearing that Justin won't like the real Quentin, Billie turns Winter into him although their plan backfires and Justin discovers Winter is Quentin. Billie sneaks out regardless and dances with Quentin, before he reveals he was actually sent to the wizard world to take Billie to Lord Morsus but refuses because of his genuine feelings for Billie. Quentin also reveals he is actually an Orc, a magical creature from the wizard world.
In "The Wizard at the End of the World: Part One", Billie tries to sneak out of the Russo Residence to find Quentin after she believes he is in danger, but is unable to leave the house because Justin put a hex on the house. However, Billie is able to escape and finds herself face-to-face to Lord Morsus, who is revealed to be Quentin in disguise and that the real Morsus is somewhere else, later revealed to be disguised as Justin. Then in part 2, Quentin reveals he generally likes Billie but the necklace that keeps him in his human form, falls off so he transforms into an Orc. Roman and Milo arrive with "Justin" who tricks Billie into believing the Russo's don't want her and Roman casts a spell to send the Orc to the Nowhere Zone, unaware it is actually Quentin. "Justin" is then revealed to be Lord Morsus who is later defeated by Alex Russo, after Billie reveals the Orc is Quentin, making it unclear if he survived after being sent to the magical zone, and leaving Billie heartbroken over losing both her mother and crush.

Trivia[]
- Quentin is the second character who is a teenager to be introduced as a love interest, after Iggy, the former girlfriend to Roman Russo.
- Quentin is revealed to be an Orc in "The Wizard at the End of the World: Part Two". It is also revealed that he was sent to pretend to have feelings for Billie, but his feelings became genuine. This is just like Rosie, who was used to trick Justin Russo into falling in love with her and her feelings for him were fake until the feelings became real.
