"Rabbit's Pumpkin Songs" are a series of songs from the My Friends Tigger & Pooh episode, "Rabbit's Song for a Pumpkin". In the song, Rabbit has to come up with a song for the pumpkin he grew for a contest, and several of the others have suggestions. Roo and Lumpy sing about how they like the pumpkin, Porcupine sings about the things that can be made from pumpkins, Piglet sings about drawing a pumpkin face, Darby sings about using a pumpkin as an instrument, and Turtle sings about how a pumpkin is a good place to relax. The finale has all the songs put together as a big interchangeable medley.
Lyrics[]
We like Rabbit's pumpkin, we think it's very nice
It's so nice a pumpkin, we had to say it twice
It's very big, it's very round, it's very, very green
Rabbit's pumpkin is the best we've ever seen
You can bake it, you can roast it
You can stew it, you can toast it
Pumpkin pies or pumpkin soup or pumpkin spread
Try some pumpkin ravioli
Pumpkin chips and guacamole
Pumpkin butter on a slice of pumpkin bread
You take a crayon, your favorite crayon
You draw a mouth down here, and then some eyes
The nose goes in between, in time for Halloween
You've got a jack o' lantern-y surprise
If you gotta drum on somethin'
How about drummin' on a pumpkin?
Pa-pa-pa-pa, pa-pa-pa-pa
Drummin' on a pumpkin
If you need to rest your feet
Well, it makes a dandy seat
Just pull up a pumpkin friend and sit a while
And if you ever lose your way
And you need a place to stay
Just carve it out and use it as a shell
That's Rabbit's pumpkin, that's Rabbit's pumpkin
