"Rafiki's New Neighbors" is the thirty-fourth episode of the Disney Jr. animated series The Lion Guard. It premiered on September 22, 2017 and is the eighth episode in the second season.
The Lion Guard are dealing with a fire on the Savannah. After they finally put it out, they learn from Thurston that it was caused by Dry Lightning. Meanwhile, Rafiki is training Makini for the Painting Ceremony at Pride Rock. Suddenly, an elephant named Chama, an antelope named Mzaha, and a monkey named Furaha move next to Rafiki's tree. At Makini's pleading, Rafiki agrees to let them stay. However, the trio prove to be loud and obnoxious to the point where Rafiki leaves and tells the Lion Guard about this development. The shocked Lion Guard goes to check this out due to wondering why they aren't with their herds.
When they arrive, the Lion Guard learns that Chama, Mzaha, and Furaha were kicked out of their herds for being silly and disruptive. The Lion Guard takes the trio back to their herds who reluctantly take them back. However, they quickly get bored with their herds and leave once again. Upon reuniting, they go back to Rafiki's tree. Rafiki tells them to find their own place which they sadly leave to go do so.
Suddenly, a Dry Lightning Storm strikes and starts a fire at Rafiki's tree. Chama, Mzaha, and Furaha arrive to help put it out. When the Lion Guard arrives to help the trio. After they put it out, Rafiki offers to let them stay at his tree but the trio tell him they found their own place. The group then goes to Pride Rock for Makini's Painting Ceremony.
