Rainbow Wand

The Rainbow Wand is a magical wand featured in the Disney Jr. series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. The wand belongs to the Pirate Princess. She uses it to create rainbows in Neverland.

Description[]

It appears as some sort of a cutlass. But the sharp edge was replaced by a long pole with a light-blue ruby on top.

Usage[]

The princess possess magical powers from her mysterious wand. The wand creates rainbows with just a swing but possibly more being that she was relieved to get it before it got into the wrong hands.

Jake and the Never Land Pirates[]

In the episode "The Rainbow Wand", the Pirate Princess lost her wand which, oblivious to her, was recently found by Izzy back at Pirate Island. They journey off to the Pirate Princess' castle to return it, but are followed by Captain Hook and his crew. After reaching the castle, they use the princess' pet sea serpent Cecilia to scare Hook and his crew away. The Pirate Princess uses the magic of her wand to create a rainbow which leads Jake and his crew home.

The Rainbow wand plays a larger role in the episode "The Never Rainbow". The Pirate Princess's rainbow wand has run out of colors. Luckily, the legendary Never Rainbow has appeared over Pirate Island, Never Land, and the Never Sea. The rainbow leads to the Dazzle Diamond, which, if touched by the wand, will recharge it. As the crew sets off, Captain Hook learns from his crew that every rainbow leads to treasure, prompting him to pursue it. The two pirate groups meet at the diamond. The Pirate Princess recharges her wand by having Izzy touch it to the diamond, but Hook still tries to steal the diamond. Unfortunately for the villain, the Never Rainbow vanishes along with the diamond, leaving him treasure-less. Back on Pirate Island, the Pirate Princess lets Izzy and Jake try out the fully charged wand. In the process, Jake accidentally zaps Hook with the rainbow rays, comically turning him into a multicolored version of himself, just as he had declared he never wanted to see a rainbow again.

The Rainbow Wand was instrumental in defeating the Pirate Princess's old foe, the Sea Witch, during their epic fight in the episode "Season of the Sea Witch." The witch prepares to turn the Pirate Princess into gold, but Jake and his crew arrive just in time with the rainbow wand. Izzy quickly tosses the wand to the Pirate Princess, who catches and shouts "Rainbows away!" as she blasts the Sea Witch. The blast transforms the Sea Witch into the kind Misty the Wonderful Witch. Misty thanks the Pirate Princess for changing her life.
