When Anaximander starts molting his fur, Billy and friends decide to put on a show to make him feel better.
Plot[]
Anaximander is checking himself out in his mouse hole where he begins to look at a calendar depicting a naked mole rat. Upon exiting, he spots Billy, Zeke and Marsha having pancakes. Marsha finds a hair in her pancake, but Zeke denies that it is his. Billy examines it and discovers that it belongs to Anaximander and that it is "healthy". Knowing that Anaximander should not be molting yet, he assumes that he is sad (though it is hard to tell due to Anaximander's usual stoic look). Billy decides that the only solution is to make Anaximander happy so that his hair will stop falling out.
Billy takes Anaximander to the sulfur springs to relax, but Billy gets attacked by a tentacled creature. Zeke then takes Anaximander for a ride on his newly built bike, but he crashes and wipes out. They notice that Anaximander is still molting and panic. Marsha mentions how when she was feeling bad her parents put on a musical show for her. Billy takes to the idea and they quickly set up a musical show called Rats for Anaximander. They look out into the audience and see a silhouette that they assume belongs to him and begin the show.
The musical consists of Billy recollecting how he first met him and raised him and has him, Zeke, Marsha and bizarrely enough all of their friends and enemies singing together in a big show. However, Anaximander, completely hairless arrives and plays his guitar. The person in the audience turns out to be the naked mole rat, Anaximander was admiring. She hops on with him on his motorcycle as they ride away, setting off fireworks and destroying the house. Billy learns that Anaximander was molting on purpose for a date. Marsha's Uncle Jasper, who earlier she had mentioned turned into a butterfly, arrives to tell them to clean up their house.
