Rat King is a Marvel Comics character that appears in the Disney Channel series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. He is a supervillain mutant that can hypnotize rats into stealing money and jewels from people.
Rat King was created by Christina Strain and Alberto Jimenez Albuquerque.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur[]
Rat King made his debut in "Teacher's Pet", where he appeared as the main antagonist. Rat King sends his rats to attempt commit various crimes involving pizza, but his plans are stopped by Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur making Rat King vow to get revenge on them. Later, Rat Kings finds Angel and after finding out that he was the hamster who Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur are trying to find, he decides to use him as bait to lure them in order to get revenge for ruining his plan. Moon Girl finds Angel, but she is captured by the Rat King. Rat King then released Angel being no longer useless and then finds Devil sulking and recruits him to go and free Moon Girl. They come barging into Rat King's lair and after an intense fight, Moon Girl uses her cassette player to play a frequency, scaring away the rats and defeating Rat King. Rat King admits that he was just a regular rat who mutated and tries to flee, but falls from a great height and lands in the sewer water below. Later, Rat King climbs out of the water.

- In the comics, Rat King was an unnamed Mutant who was the son of a member of the Morlocks. He looked more human in appearance and, despite his name, was also capable of controlling other animals besides rats.
- The character is in a way a parody of The Mouse King or The Rat King from The Nutcracker.
- He also shares his name (and similar traits) with another character from the Nickelodeon animated series The Penguins of Madagascar.
- He also shares the name and powers with a supervillain mutant from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
