Ray Schoonover is a Marvel Comics character and antagonist who appears in Daredevil, played by Clancy Brown.

Ray Schoonover was created by Carl Potts and Jim Lee.

History

He is an United States Marine colonel who is secretly a drug lord. He was also Frank Castle's commanding officer during the war. He later became a drug lord known as the blacksmith and His actions led to the mob war that led to the death of Frank's family. After Frank became the Punisher, Ray hired a sniper to Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson in order to frame Punisher for it, but Matt and Foggy managed to escape alive. Afterwards, Karen Page met with Ray and questioned him about him and his past with Punisher, but Punisher showed up and shot Ray in the head, killing Ray.
