Raymond Andrew "Ray" Winstone is an English actor, voice actor, and producer, who is best known for his roles as Carlin in the 1979 British drama film Scum and Will Scarlet in the 1984 British television series Robin of Sherwood. He is also well-known for portraying the titular character of the 2007 action film Beowulf, and voicing Bad Bill in the 2011 Paramount/Nickelodeon animated film Rango and Papa Bear in the 2022 DreamWorks film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
For Disney, he voiced Mr. Beaver in the 2005 Disney/Walden Media fantasy film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He also played Bors in King Arthur, Teague in Cold Mountain, and Bruno in Breaking and Entering. Additionally, he portrayed General Dreykov in the Marvel film Black Widow and Saul in the ABC TV show Of Kings and Prophets.
