"Razzle Dazzle" is the first segment of the twentieth episode of Ariel. It premiered on February 7, 2025 alongside "Fernie's Float".
Plot[]
Ariel and Lucia are playing tag when they come across Ursula, who is working a new magic trick called the Razzle Dazzle. Ariel and Lucia want to help, and Ursula accepts. First, she needs the magic ingredients, which Ariel and Lucia will gather. They are excited about the spell Ursula will do, and Lucia sings about how great it is. The ingredients are one bunch of seaweed and three soursop fruits. Lucia gets the seaweed but the market is out of soursop fruits. Ariel and Lucia then look for soursop fruit at another fruit stand.
Lucia doesn't want to wait to learn the Razzle Dazzle spell, and comes up with an idea about using the Gathering Spell to bring the rest of the fruit to them, although Ariel is unsure about it. Lucia recites the spell, and lots of soursop fruit falls, capturing the attention of Ursula. Lucia tells her what happened, and Ursula mentions that it's important to be patient. Lucia is tasked to clean up all the soursop fruit without magic. Once she does, Ursula tells Ariel and Lucia that the market is all out of tres puntas, so Ariel and Lucia will pick up the herb themselves. Tres puntas grow at Crystal Falls, and Lucia mentions that it's very far. Ariel tells Lucia to be patient, but Lucia recites a Speedy Spell for them to get to Crystal Falls fast before zipping back for the Razzle Dazzle, despite Ariel's warnings.
As a result, Ariel and Lucia go right past Crystal Falls and find themselves in Soca Sands. Ariel tells Lucia why it's important to be patient, and Lucia decides on no more magic. After Ariel and Lucia gather the tres puntas, they head to Ursula, who mentions that when she's looking for a new spell, she looks through books and potions and makes a mess. Ursula doesn't always use magic to clean up, especially when she makes sure everything is exactly where it needs to be. Ursula then cleans up, and Ariel and Lucia decide to help.
Ariel assumes that putting things back is not exciting, but tells Lucia that patience pays off. Lucia wants to see a big magic trick, and wishes for something bubbly. As a result, Ursula is zapped inside a bubble which she can't get herself out of. Lucia used a shark-level wand to zap Ursula inside. Lucia has to perform a shark-level magician spell to get Ursula out, and apologizes for not being patient like Ariel said. Ariel understands, as she hasn't been patient in the past. Ursula finally knows the importance of being patient, as if she isn't, she makes mistakes.
Ursula decides on the Razzle Dazzle spell to free her from the bubble, and Lucia is tasked to do so, although she is only supposed to do guppy-level magic tricks. Following Ursula's instructions and Ariel's advice, Lucia is able to recite the spell correctly and free Ursula from the bubble. Lucia thanks Ariel and Ursula for their help and promises to be patient next time. Ursula then tells Ariel and Lucia it's time for a little fun.
