Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge was a planned Disney Vacation Club resort at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. Announced at D23 Expo in 2017, the resort was planned to be located between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on the former site of Disney's River Country Water Park. The resort was originally set to open in 2022.[1].
At D23 Expo in 2019, a table-service restaurant themed to The Princess and the Frog was announced to be included at Reflections.
However, on March 15, 2022, Walt Disney World Resort announced that the resort was cancelled to make way for a new DVC villas at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.[2]
As of 2024, the planned hotel is in redevelopment with potential pending permits being extended in light of being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On November 26 of that year, it was announced that the resort would be renamed from Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge to Disney Lakeshore Resort, and was given a projected 2027 opening.
