Memorable Quotes[]
- “(Nimnul hears Kirby and Muldoon approaching, responding to the alarm from the grocery store due to his shoplifting)
Professor Nimnul: The police! Don't they have anything better to do than to arrest criminals!?
(Nimnul blasts Kirby, Muldoon, and their cruiser with his age-changing ray, reducing all three to an elderly state, with Kirby and Muldoon's hair turning white and their bodies frail, and their cruiser being reduced to an old jalopy of itself, but still flashing its lights and wailing its siren)
Muldoon: Put on the brakes.
Kirby: Hmm?
Muldoon: I said, "put on the brakes". What are you? Deaf?
Kirby: Ah, no thanks. I already had lunch.
(Nimnul realizes they are heading straight for him and dives out of the way as the officers hit his grocery cart, scattering the prunes he needs as energy for his weapon, and then crashing into the front entrance of the grocery store, though the damage to the cruiser in its aged state is minimal, and no one is hurt.)” - ―Not even the police are immune to Nimnul's age-changing ray, and it made Kirby a little senile
- “Professor Nimnul: (cackling triumphantly as he escapes with his stolen prunes)
(Kirby and Muldoon try to pursue him on foot, but their aged bodies can't keep up)
Kirby: Halt. Halt.
Muldoon: Police.” - ―Nimnul escapes the elderly long arm of the law, for now
- “(Kirby and Muldoon are patrolling outside Nimnul's hideout in a factory in their cruiser, still under the effects of the age-changing ray)
Muldoon: Eh, do you see anything unusual?
Kirby: Ah, no, no coffee for me, thanks.
(Several full grown plum trees burst out of the roof of the factory, drawing Kirby and Muldoon back to the scene.)
Muldoon: That looks plum suspicious.” - ―Way to notice the obvious, even when elderly, Officer Muldoon
- “(Kirby and Muldoon pull into the factory through the hole in the garage door, unknowingly running over Nimnul's age-changing ray and setting it off, causing the plum-fueled beam to ricochet back and hit them, their cruiser, and Nimnul, returning them all to their original ages.)
Nimnul: Huh?
Kirby: Hands up, Nimnul. Time for a visit to your favorite old jail cell.” - ―Nimnul is busted by the restored, and no longer senile, Kirby
- “(Nimnul is handcuffed and led to the cruiser by Kirby and Muldoon)
Nimnul: What do they serve for breakfast in jail?
Kirby: Anything you want, old-timer.
Nimnul: Uh, no prunes. Anything but prunes.” - ―Nimnul's had enough of prunes for a lifetime, in or out of jail
