"Return of the Tracker" is the ninth episode of W.I.T.C.H. It first aired March 12, 2005.

Summary

Prince Phobos sends the Tracker after Caleb in an effort to recapture the rebel leader. Meanwhile, the girls all try to go see a movie starring their favorite actor. But will they be able to save Caleb and defeat an old foe and get to the show on time? In the B-story, Will is grounded for having bad grades. Hay Lin is also grounded, but not for long. Irma is upset when she finds out she must babysit her brother and Yan Lin replaces her.

Trivia

• Hay Lin's father shows how overprotective he is of her.
• This episode marks the first and only time we hear the Tracker speak as it was deemed later that he was scarier if he remained silent.
• In the cinema Caleb fights the Tracker in front of the screen. The audience thinks the fight makes part of the show, with the Portal as a special effect. This concept is taken from the W.I.T.C.H. comic The Black Roses (Out of the Dark), in which Will and Cedric disturb the performance of the rock group 'Karmilla' in the Heatherfield Stadium.
• This episode was originally titled Midnight In the Multiplex of Good and Evil.
• It is revealed that The Tracker is a valuable soldier of Prince Phobos.
