Rhino (real name being Aleksei Sytsevich) is a supervillain who appears in the 2017 Marvel series Spider-Man.
Rhino was created by Stan Lee and John Romita Sr.
Role in the series[]
First appearing in the episode "A Day in the Life", Rhino is a student at Horizon High from Russia where he gets pricked by a serum-laced needle hidden under Raymond Warren's ring. In the episode "Party Animals", the effects of the serum turns Aleksei into the Rhino during the Horizon High dance. Spider-Man was able to subdue him and knock him out as the police arrive. Upon Anya Corazon using a device to figure out that the Rhino was Aleksei Sytsevich, Peter Parker, Harry Osborn, and Gwen Stacy had to work on a cure. After Gwen Stacy uses an antidote that turns Jackal back into Raymond Warren, Spider-Man rushes the cure back to Horizon High and uses it to restore Rhino back to Aleksei Sytsevich.
