Richard Riehle is an American actor and voice actor. For Disney, he played the role of Mr. Coburn in Kickin' It, Burton in Iron Will, Commander Gorman in the 1998 remake of Mighty Joe Young, Mr. Greeson in Holy Matrimony, Gerald in American Housewife, Santa Claus in The Search for Santa Paws, Thomas Howard in Treasure Buddies, and Earl in the 1999 TV film Balloon Farm. He also voiced Leonard Grahand in Fillmore! and Sheriff Sam Brown in the 2004 Disney animated feature film Home on the Range.
Riehle was born in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, the son of Mary Margaret (née Walsh), a nurse, and Herbert John Riehle (1921–1961), an assistant postmaster. He attended the University of Notre Dame. He had performing in regional theater until his screen debut in Rooster Cogburn in 1975. This began a five decade long career as a character actor in films, such as Glory, Fried Green Tomatoes, Of Mice and Men (1992), Free Willy, The Fugitive, Casino, Ghosts of Mississippi, Dilemma, The Odd Couple II, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Lethal Weapon 4, Richie Rich's Christmas Wish, Au Pair, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Joe Dirt, Beethoven's 5th, Halloween II (2009), Bridesmaids, Texas Chainsaw 3D, Transformers: Age of Extinction, and 3 from Hell. His television credits include Falcon Crest, Quantum Leap, Murder, She Wrote, L.A.
