"Ride or Die" is the twentieth episode of the Disney Channel and Marvel Animation series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.
Synopsis[]
When Moon Girl must transport Quickwhip to S.H.I.E.L.D., keeping the criminal in custody becomes harder than she imagined.
Plot[]
Lunella, Casey and Devil get prepared for watching the finale of their favorite show The Old and the Dutiful. Minor criminal Quickwhip, suddenly shows up. Lunella has constantly failed to capture her, but this time she is prepared and finally manages to do so. She calls Maria Hill to send S.H.I.E.L.D. down to pick her up, but they are swamped, forcing Lunella to take Quickwhip herself. Not wanting to miss the finale, Casey promises to record it and wait for Lunella to return to watch it. This ends up being difficult as everyone will be talking about it, so Casey and Devil secretly watch the finale without Lunella's knowledge.
Lunella takes Quickwhip on the subway where they are confronted by Lady Bullseye and her Diabolical Darts. It turns out that Quickwhip has been on the run from them for quite some time, forcing Lunella and Quickwhip to team up and fight them. Lady Bullseye even gasses the passengers on the train to root the two out. During this time, Lunella learns that Quickwhip's real name is Zakiya and she came to New York City with the hopes of being a Michelin patisserie. High costs of living forced her to get recruited by Lady Bullseye and became her number two. She ultimately chose to run away, but fears that her rap sheet will make it impossible for her to achieve her true dream.
When the passengers wake up, the train is out of control with Lady Bullseye demanding the return of Zakiya. When the passengers insist that Lunella comply, she instead makes a trap and she and Zakiya fight Lady Bullseye and her Darts while Principal Nelson, who was on the train hoping to busk, adds music to the scene. Devil shows up after Casey gets a message that Lunella didn't arrive and stops the train as Lady Bullseye is arrested. Rather than having Zakiya get imprisoned too, Lunella offers a new solution to Hill. Zakiya now works at Bube Bina's pastry shop as part of a new outreach program for villains who want to reform.
