"Rise of the Mountain Crushers" is the second segment of the fifty-seventh episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on October 18, 2017 alongside "Invaders from Tomorrowland", and is the second segment of the third episode in the third season.
Plot[]
In a Nemesystems factory, one Mountain Crusher is successfully constructed. Zeeb informs Commander Nemex of such, and that once five are made, he will launch them to the Tomorrowland Mission Center. Nemex likes the idea, stating that after everyone runs away, his Mountain Crushers will pound the Mission Center into the ground.
In the Zenith, Miles and Haruna are racing their toy rockets. When they collide, nothing happens. Haruna and Miles thought that would be more fun. Zeno then informs them about a call from Tomorrowland. With Mission Force One all present and accounted for, Admirals Watson and Crick tell them that there is a big problem: the TTA has discovered the location of a new Nemesystems factory; only that one is making Mountain Crushers. Mission Force One has seen them before. Mirandos says that they destroy mountains, buildings, and anything in their path. Now, the Admirals have reason to believe that Nemesystems will send the new Mountain Crushers to the Tomorrowland Mission Center, which will be crushed. This is because without the Mission Center, the Admirals can't run the TTA. This is just what Commander Nemex wants, so he can take over the TTA. Miles accepts the mission to shut down the factory before the Mountain Crushers are built. The team then performs their signature catchphrase and activates their recruit suits' mission mode.
The Zenith then heads to the Nemesystems factory. Miles tells M.E.R.C. that he will be the captain of the Zenith while Mission Force One is on the planet. The team then sees the Mountain Crusher factory. Haruna sees one already built. Miles decides to disable that Mountain Crusher while the others get into the factory and find a way to shut it down.
With two control bots guarding the door, Blodger turns into a nemetron and orders them to power down, which they do. Although told by Loretta that there could be an alarm, Haruna breaks it open with his shock punch. Once there, they see how big the factory is. Loretta decides to use the techstops. Mirandos says that they have to aim the techstops inside the machinery to shut the factory down.
After launching enough techstops, the factory shuts down and ceases making more Mountain Crushers. Miles decides to head into the Mountain Crusher to power it down. Loretta, Haruna, Blodger, and Mirandos approach a nemetron and Loretta tells him to tell Commander Nemex that this factory is closed for business. However, two Mountain Crushers made it through, and the control bot launches them.
Miles sees another Mountain Crusher about to launch. Miles activates his Mountain Crusher's manual override, which the nemetron sees. Miles sees that the right terminals operate the right side, and the left terminals operate the left. Miles hopes the rocket thrusters, which are controlled by the handles, are enough. Miles activates the thrusters, but has difficulty controlling the Mountain Crusher. just as the nemetron orders Mountain Crusher A to launch to the Tomorrowland Mission Center as another Mountain Crusher is completed. Miles sees this, and stops Mountain Crusher A. The nemetron says that he has two more Mountain Crushers ready.
As Miles can't turn off the thrusters, he crashes his Mountain Crusher right next to the other members of Mission Force One. Miles them that he's having a little trouble controlling it. The team decides to give him a hand. Haruna will operate the right side with Loretta while Mirandos and Blodger take the left.
As Mountain Crusher B launches, Mission Force One's Mountain Crusher catches up to it and powers it down. However, the team's Mountain Crusher crash lands and gets stuck on some rocks. Mirandos and Haruna try to smash it with their fists to no avail.
The nemetron then orders Mountain Crusher C to launch and use all four thrusters, as that is Nemesystems' last chance of destroying the Tomorrowland Mission Center. The nemetron tells Mission Force One that they didn't get the job done, and the Tomorrowland Mission Center won't know what hit it. Mission Force One notices this, and Haruna and Mirandos successfully break the boulder. Miles launches the Mountain Crusher out of the planet. However, its arms are waving, as Mirandos and Haruna are getting to grab the other crusher. Blodger decides to kick, causing it to go out of control, and Blodger doesn't want to do that again.
As the Mountain Crusher leaves the planet, Haruna sees through his math that there is no way Mission Force One's Mountain Crusher can catch the other one before it reaches Earth. After being acknowledged by Miles, M.E.R.C. decides to give Mission Force One a lift to Earth. With the Mountain Crusher grabbing onto the Zenith, the ship heads towards Earth on maximum speed.
Once the Zenith reaches Earth, M.E.R.C. cuts the engines just as Mirandos and Haruna let go. Miles activates all four thrusters. Mirandos and Haruna grab the other Mountain Crusher, causing its course to go into the ocean away from the Mission Center. Mission Force One then abandons the Mountain Crusher before both Mountain Crushers hit the ocean and power down, completing the mission. After being told by Miles, Mission Force One decides to have a toy rocket race.
