Rita Delores Alverio, known professionally as Rita Moreno is a Puerto Rican-born American singer, dancer, and actress. She is known for her roles in musical films such as the 1956's The King and I and 1961's West Side Story. She also voiced Aunt Mimi in Blue Sky's Rio 2.

Her Disney roles have included Chulita in the Zorro episodes "Adios, El Cuchillo" and "El Bandido", Renee Corliss in the Golden Girls episode "Empty Nests", additional voices in Raw Toonage and Bonkers, and Abuela in the Special Agent Oso episodes "For Tamales with Love" and "Pinata Royale".

She also appeared as herself on The Muppet Show in episode 105, The Muppets Go Hollywood, Best Ever Muppet Moments and the 1988 TV special Walt Disney World 4th of July Spectacular. She also played Gayle McColl in the ABC TV show, Grey's Anatomy.
