Rita Perez is a supporting character in Primos. She is the loving wife of Diego Perez, as well Lita, Lucita, and Scooter's mother. She is also the aunt of Tater Ramirez Humphrey and all the other primos, Pop and Buela Ramirez's second daughter, and Bibi Ramirez Humphrey's sister.

Rita can be best described as a haughty perfectionist, disliking any error no matter how insignificant. Because of this, she isn’t held in high regard by even her own family as her daughter Lita and her sister Bibi react with complete frustration to her whenever she is brought up.

- It is unknown why she did not join the rest of her siblings in "Summer of Tater" or "Summer of Cuadros", though based on her perfectionist attitude, as well as her tumultuous relationship with her siblings, she most likely felt that she had other things she needed tending to.
- However, in "Summer of Sueños" she joined them for Buela's big American dream.
