Robert John Lopez is an American songwriter and composer best known for best known for co-creating The Book of Mormon and Avenue Q, receiving Tony Awards for both works.
For Disney, Robert Lopez wrote the music for Finding Nemo: The Musical at Disney's Animal Kingdom, the Phineas and Ferb songs: "Aerial Area Rug" for the episode "Magic Carpet Ride" and "Fly on the Wall" from the episode of the same name, the 2011 Winnie the Pooh film, the 2013 Disney smash-hit animated film Frozen, its 2019 sequel, and the 2017 Disney/Pixar film Coco.
When he won the Academy Award for writing the song "Let It Go", he became one of the few people to be an EGOT (someone who has won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony).
