Skippy is a good friend to Robin Hood. After the Sheriff of Nottingham took his birthday present from him, Robin Hood came in a disguise as a beggar and reveal to himself to surprise Skippy. He gave Skippy his bow and arrow and his hat as his birthday present, which is Skippy idolize him as his mentor. In the end of the movie, he was joined by Robin Hood, Maid Marian, and Little John to become Robin Hood's de facto apprentice.
