"Rock the Croc!" is the second segment of the fourteenth episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It premiered on March 28, 2011 alongside "The Golden Twilight Treasure!".
Plot[]
Pirate Island was boiling, and the heat was taking its toll on Izzy, Cubby, and Skully. Just then, Jake noticed a message in a bottle washing ashore. It was from Peter Pan, including a map to his personal water park, Pirate's Plunge, hidden in Never Land. Excited to cool down, Jake and his crew decided to set sail for Pirate's Plunge.
Meanwhile, on Never Land, the heat was also taking its toll on Captain Hook, who was slumping in his chair while Mr. Smee fanned him with a large palm tree leaf. They overheard Jake and his crew arriving on Never Land, searching for Pirate's Plunge. Hook knew of Pan's private paradise to beat the heat, but he had never been able to find it.
Armed with his trusty plunger hook, the captain attempted to steal the map in a bottle from Jake. Jake begged Hook not to swipe the map and offered the greedy captain to join his crew and go to Pirate's Plunge together, but Hook insisted he must have the plunge all to himself.
As the two pirates struggled for the bottle, it was flung into the air and landed in the open jaws of Tick-Tock the Crocodile, who swallowed the map, much to the shock of the pirates.
Furious, Captain Hook stormed over to Tick-Tock and demanded, "Wretched beast, give me that map at once! That's an order!" However, his words were cut short when the crocodile snarled at him and attempted to eat the captain, sending Hook and Smee fleeing into the Never Land Jungle with Tick-Tock in pursuit.
Jake and his crew soon follow to get the map back. Once they catch up with the crocodile, they find him fast asleep, leaving the young pirate team wondering how to safely recover the map from Tick-Tock. Using one of Skully's tail feathers, the pirate team blows the feather towards Tick-Tock's nose, hoping to make him sneeze the map out. This earns them three gold doubloons. The feather tickles his nose, but Tick-Tock doesn't sneeze.
Captain Hook soon arrives and uses the feather on his hat to try and make the crocodile sneeze the map out. But much to Hook's horror, Tick-Tock awakens from his slumber with a roar, and Mr. Smee has to carry the captain to protection. Just then, Cubby burps and says he must have eaten too many coconuts for breakfast. This gives the young pirates an idea to get the crocodile to burp up the map. They attract Tick-Tock to Geyser Gulch to drink the fizzy, bubbly water, hoping it will make him burp up the map. The crocodile successfully drinks the water and belches, but the map doesn't come out. However, for their efforts in getting the crocodile to drink the fizzy, bubbly water, they earn four more gold doubloons.
Captain Hook returns and tries patting the croc's back to burp him, saying, "Crocodile, I command you to burp out that map at once!" This annoys the crocodile, who sends the captain flying out of the gulch. Mr. Smee tells Hook to flap his arms like a bird, but he crashes.
Finally, Jake and his crew decide to try and make the crocodile laugh out the map. Cubby tries telling Tick-Tock jokes, but he's not entertained. Jake tries singing a silly song, but nothing seems to work. Captain Hook tries to masquerade as a clown, but Tick-Tock simply rolls his eyes before trying to get back to sleep. This enrages Captain Hook, who shouts, "That's it! I've had it! Oh, I'm tired of being Captain Nice Clowny."
Hook orders Smee to bring him his crocodile net. However, Jake explains that they all want the map to Pirate's Plunge, and trapping a crocodile in a net isn't the right thing to do. He asks Izzy for some pixie dust, and she sprinkles it on him. Then, Jake flies over and grabs the net from Mr. Smee before he can give it to Hook, prompting the captain to give chase, yelling, "By thunder! Drop that net!" Jake throws the net at Hook, and he becomes entangled within it. Smee tries frantically to free him but accidentally knocks Hook off the log. Tick-Tock slams his tail onto the log, catapulting Hook into the air and onto a palm tree. Hook exclaims, "Oh, why me?"
Tick-Tock finds the captain's embarrassment so funny that he laughs and the map comes out, earning the crew four more gold doubloons. This allows Jake and his crew to enjoy Pirate's Plunge and cool off before they return to Pirate Island and place the gold doubloons they gathered on their adventure into the Team Treasure Chest.
As the episode ends, Tick-Tock is still amusing himself by gingerly pushing Hook, who is still confined in the net hanging from the palm tree, back and forth as Smee attempts to save him.
