Rocket Raccoon is a character who appears in the Marvel Comics animated seriesThe Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. He is a genetically modified raccoon and the marksman gunslinger of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Rocket Raccoon was created by Keith Giffen and Bill Mantlo.
Background[]
Rocket Raccoon is both a man of action and a man of words. Despite being described as irritable and a loose cannon, he is fiercely loyal to his teammates, especially Star Lord and Groot.
Role in the series[]
Rocket Racoon, along with the Guardians of the Galaxy, tracked Michael Korvac to Earth and battled the Avengers for him, until they were able to make it clear to them that Michael Korvac was a threat to sentient life.
Trivia[]
- Greg Ellis previously voiced Rocket in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, and incidentally is Rocket Raccoon's first voice actor.
