Ron's Gone Wrong is an upcoming 2021 computer-animated film. It is scheduled for release on April 23, 2021 by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures through their 20th Century Studios subsidiary.
Synopsis
A 11-year-old boy finds out that his robot buddy doesn't quite work and goes to a world where walking, talking, digitally connected robots have best friends for children.
Trivia
- This is the only Locksmith Animation film that 20th Century Studios is releasing as part of a deal, as after the latter's acquisition by Disney in 2019, they formed a new deal with Warner Bros.[1]
- Following a studio name change by Disney on January 17, 2020, this will be the second animated film to be released under the 20th Century Studios name. The first will be Bob's Burgers: The Movie.
- Originally, the movie was originally set to be released on February 26, 2021, but it was delayed for April 23, 2021 during the 2019-20 coronavirus outbreak.[2]
